too large and too rude
Further evidence that Nashville’s 40-member Metro Council is too large:
When I [newly appointed Chamber of Commerce President Ralph Schulz] returned to the office Jill Anderson, my assistant, told me of Councilman Isabels [sic] call. When I ask the purpose of the call she said she was told ‘tell him I am a councilman and I expect him to call me immediately.’
