Monkey business
Under normal circumstances I would argue that Congress (a) has no business interfering in the very personal decision about what kind of pets people keep, and (b) has more important things to do. However, given all they’ve done these last few weeks, I think that Congress should spend the next several weeks, or even months, debating nothing but this kind of monkey business.
Were they to dedicate themselve wholly to this one bill, the country would be far better off for their efforts.
