Free-fall
For Barack Obama’s sake it’s a good thing that Pennsylvania is still six weeks off because his campaign is in a free fall. Read this if you don’t believe me.
BTW, Glenn notes that Samantha Power has resigned from Obama’s campaign over the Hillary is a “Monster” remark. My take on it is that her admission that Obama isn’t serious about withdrawing forces from Iraq was a deadlier blow.
Also, Ben Smith notes that a Clinton advisor has said essentially the same thing about her plan to withdraw American troops But here’s the difference. Anti-war Democrats have never believed Hillary on this issue, but they do believe Obama. Or at least they did.

That may just mean he falls for 6 weeks. Our new major in the City of Brotherly Love is standing by his endorsement of Hillary, apparently without major negative repercussions. He, incidentally, is one of a number of African-American elected officials around the country who strike me as better qualified for the Presidency than the Audacious One. [No: you can’t have him just yet, America.]
