Putin plots his return to the Kremlin.
If Obama wants to send a signal to the world that he’s serious about his pledge, “To those who would tear this world down – we will defeat you,” he should to return John Bolton to his former post as Ambassador to the United Nations.
It would make a whole lot of McCain-voting Republicans breathe a big sigh of relief and would probably extend his 100-day holiday.

Don’t count on it. If anything, that is wishful thinking. Bolton was the devil incarnate to those on the left…. and Obama is owned by the lft.

Bolton is a good singer, I guess, if you like his style. But why Obama appoint him as ambassador to the UN? And I didn’t know al qeada had an ambassador to the UN.

In a perfect world, John Bolton would be Secretary of State.

It would take intelligence to do that. Don’t count on it.

Strike that…..Obamna owns the left.

If he will put Bolton back to UN, I’ll write on my LJ that I made a big mistake judging him.
In Big Letters. However, I am quite sceptical about it.

You think a guy who has said he would meet with dictators and wants more “international cooperation” would send a guy who calls out the corruption that is th UN back?
Obama’s going to be a doormat for the rest of the world.

Bolton thought “Everyone ” was doing that

Didn’t some Democrat publicly break down in tears at some hearing about confirming Bolton? I hope things have changed, but as regards sending warnings to Russia, well, I hold little hope.
He’s be the perfect choice. That mustache alone is worth 10 divisions.

Or, as an alternative, stick a big white mustache on Madeline Albright. That could buy us, like, three or four months before anybody’d be the wiser.

No. That was a Republican – Voinovich.
Ed: You’re correct. BTW Ohio, Voinovich is on this list.

All too true. Bolton acted as if the USA had some principles worth supporting, and used some determination to apply them. Whereas the Chicago mob including Wright and Ayers, to whom Obama owes his ascent in politics, prefer that the evil USA be taken down to a point of helplessness in international affairs.

Republicans sighing relief is not high on the progressive agenda. But thank you, and keep those ideas coming.
Ed: Classy name
