Aunt Zeituni and the DUI

Byline: | Category: 2008 Presidential Election | Posted at: Saturday, 1 November 2008

“It’s a dirty trick.”  That’s the counter-charge a campaign makes when it has no answer to a charge against it.

Eight years ago it was a Democratic lawyer in Maine who drew attention to George W. Bush’s DUI charge the Thursday before the election.  This year the left have blamed their two favorite boogeymen: George W. Bush, who obviously used the power of the INS, and Rupert Murdoch, owner of Fox News.

You know who is really at fault for this late breaking embarrassing story?  The same person who was to blame eight years ago:  the candidate himself.  Whether it’s an illegal act or an illegal aunt, you need to disclose the ugly details early in the campaign.

Where did Barrack Hussein Obama get the funds
to attend Harvard on a salary of $12,000 as a
    “community organizer” ?
Where did Barrack Hussein Obama get the funds
to attend Columbia University Law School??
Why is his brother living in a shack in Africa?
And lastly, why is his aunt living in substandard
    housing in Boston,while he’s living in a $1.65
million mansion in Chicago? HMMMMMMMMMMMM??Oh I
forgot,he’s a man of the people!

I have a much smaller family than Senator Obama and I couldn’t even tell you what state my aunt lives in (Illinois, I think?), much less whether she’s had any trouble with the law. Sure, my aunt was an important person to me when I was young, but we haven’t been in touch in many many years.

Anyway, I don’t think it’s terribly important one way or the other. Whether or not any GOP person ‘fished’ for data they shouldn’t have had, if she IS an illegal immigrant, then that’s her fault, not the GOP’s. (And not Obama’s either.) It’s not a smear or a dirty trick, I just don’t think it matters either.

Wait- Obama does nothing without careful consideration. Remember the financial meltdown? He didn’t act before considering the situation, consulting his advisers and contacting Senator McCain.
He has to act fast, but I’m betting he’ll find a way to do the right thing.
    Hugs and kisses.
