How close is Barack Obama to the corrupt community organizing group, ACORN?  Here is Obama at last December’s Heartland Democratic Presidential Forum, a gathering of community organizers hosted by the Center for Community Change, an ACORN ally.  The first gentleman is Deepak Bhargava, the Executive Director of the CCC.  I don’t know who the questioner is.

Question:  If elected President of the United States, would you agree in your first 100 days to meet with a delegation of representatives from these various community organizations, the campaign for community values, could they count on you in your first 100 days to sit down with them?

Barack Obama:  Yes, but let me even say before I even get inaugurated.  During the transition we’re going to call all of you in to help us shape the agenda.  We’re gonna be having meetings all across the country with community organizations so that you have input into the agenda for the next Presidency of the United States of America.

The McCain-Palin campaign is now finally highlighting the connection between Barack Obama, ACORN, and the huge role that both played in the current financial meltdown.  They released this ad on Friday:
