At this stage of the presidential election when the only voters paying attention are the small percentage of dedicated political junkies, perhaps it makes some sense for Democrats to court even the fringe “Netroots”. However, come next fall, I have to think that their fawning over those who hate George W. Bush more than they love America is going to come back to cost them votes from the middle–where elections are won.
