You Should See My SAT Scores Too
“I feel obligated to forewarn you that I was the winner of the 1971-72 Detroit Free Press Debate Award for the state of Michigan.”
– from Michael Moore’s open letter to Fred Thompson, challenging Thompson to a debate
See also the part where Moore wants to discuss issues like abortion and gay rights with “Arthur Branch,” who is, last I checked anyway, a fictional character.
Coming up soon: Moore to discuss the merits of single payer health care with Gregory House!
UPDATE: Thompson responds. Am I mistaken, or is he not publicly calling out Michael Moore as a mental case? I think he is!
UPDATE II: By the way, Thompson’s reponse to Moore will have a much greater impact on the presidential campaign than anything said at this little shindig tonight. It’ll be seen by many more people too. (Are you going to watch the debate tonight? — ed. Are you kidding? House is on. One more and it’s a pattern!)
UPDATE III: I’ve always meant to do this, but never had a good reason. Announcing, the Rule of Internet Headshots: If a person uses a picture of himself or herself which reveals only the top half of the head, such person is almost always a self-satisfied, self-righteous jackass. I don’t know why there’s a correlation between the two, but there is. I have another example in mind, but at present can’t find a good link. If I do, I’ll share.

Moore to discuss the merits of single payer health care with Gregory House!
Heh…you know what I would love? A matchup between Hugh Laurie and Fred Thompson.
Greg House, the sarcastic, elitist, Athiest doctor versus Arthur Branch, the no-nonsense prosecutor who loves Baby Jesus.

No, that’s not who I was specifically thinking of, but the example serves nonetheless. Thx.
