“Attention whore” quits the ranch
Cindy Sheehan “resigns”:
Good-bye America …you are not the country that I love and I finally realized no matter how much I sacrifice, I can’t make you be that country unless you want it.
I don’t know if I’m supposed to feel pity or contempt. Most of all, I just don’t care.
OTHERS:
Glenn Reynolds: . . . when her utility as a Bush-bashing tool evaporated, the media weren’t interested.
Don Surber: Gee, Democrats are partisans. Go figure.
Note: “Attention whore” isn’t my label for her, but Ms. Sheehan’s label for herself.

It wasn’t so much a label for herself, but an illustrative example of why she is bowing out. That term was used as an insult against her repeatedly, not something she dubbed herself.
