I hope that this Drudge exclusive is correct. Tom Delay is unfortunately emblematic of a national Republican Party that has decided it likes power and politics more than it likes pursuing worthwhile policies.
Here in Tennessee, we have the same problem. It’s a different party at the center of the problems, but it’s the same problem nonetheless.

And without a strong 3rd party option, I’m afraid this is going to be the state of Party politics on either side for a good many decades. One party will retain majority power for a long time then rapidly fester and rot.
