two down, at least two more to go

State Rep. Chris Newton joins John Ford in deciding to resign his elected position after being indicted in the Tennessee Waltz sting operation.

Update:  I originally titled this thread "two down, at least three more to go."  There were five legislators caught up in the tn waltz scandal, though by the time the indictments came down, one of them, Roscoe Dixon, was already out of office.  The two remaining indicted and unresigned legislators are Democratic Senators Kathryn Bowers and Ward Crutchfield.  I wonder whether/if their peers will ask for their resignations.  I just might have the opportunity to ask one of them about that today.
