finally, i agree with teddy on an issue

I agree with Senator Kennedy’s remarks about UN Ambassador John Bolton:  “It’s a devious maneuver that evades the constitutional requirement of Senate consent . . .” 

He is talking about the Senate’s dereliction of constitutional duty by using an arcane extra-constitutional maneuver to avoid voting on a presidential nomination, isn’t he?

    Good point. I don’t think old Ted said too much about recess appt.’s when Bubba Clinton used it 140 times.

    Of course, when Kennedy seems to think that the term “advice and consent” means threaten filibuster at every opportunity then what is one left to do?
